American vlogger Eliot Onile Eastman, based in Zamboanga City, is believed to be dead.

This information was confirmed by Lt. Col. Ramoncelio Sawan, Acting Spokesperson for the Police Regional Office (PRO) 9.

In a phone interview, Sawan stated, "We want to believe that Eliot Eastman died based on the testimonies we received from a witness and one of the suspects."

Eastman was abducted on October 17 in Sibuco town by four armed men, an incident that has since raised concerns.

His body was reportedly thrown into the ocean.

Despite the statements given by the witness and one of the suspects, the American vlogger's body is still missing, according to a live report by UNTV News and Rescue.

“Although we’ve had one witness and another witness corroborating what was said about Elliot Eastman’s death, we still aren’t able to find his body,” said Sawan.
