She said that they actually grew up poor, but they will not grow old still poor.
Donalyn also shared all the challenges that she faced until she found her husband.

"Lumaking mahirap pero nangakong 'di tatandang mahirap. Isa akong [rider] at asawa ng isang basurero. Nangakong magkabahay at ngayon, ito na."
