A nine-year-old Grade 3 student who was reported missing was found dead on a grassy, vacant area at the side of a hilly location in Brgy. Makilala, North Cotabato.

The child was reported missing since Saturday, and according to Frontline's report, her parents last saw her on Saturday morning.
Her body was found to be decomposing already and she was suspected to have died from being strangled and also from blunt injuries.
She was also suspected to have been molested.
