VP Sara Duterte, nilinaw ang umano'y banta kay PBBM: "taken out of logical context"

- Vice President Sara Duterte on Monday made a statement about the threat she issued against Pres. Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Liza Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez

- The vice president, in GMA News' report said that her statement was "maliciously taken out of logical context"

- Her statement came after the National Security Council said that it considers all kinds of threats against the president as a matter of national security

- She thereafter questioned why was it that she, being a member of the NSC was not invited to the meetings

Vice President Sara Duterte backtracked on the threat that she made against the President, the First Lady and the House Speaker.

In a statement on Monday, as reported by GMA News, the vice president said that her statements were taken out of logical context.

A day before her statement, the national Security Council issued a statement that any threat on the life of the President is a matter of national security.

Along with her pronouncement as merely having been taken out of logical context, she also questioned her not being invited to the meetings of the security council considering that she is a member.

She also said that the council submit within 24 hours why she was not invited as a member to the meetings.

“I would like to see a copy of the notice of meeting with proof of service, the list of attendees, photos of the meeting, and the notarized minutes of meeting where the Council, whether present or past, resolved to consider the remarks by a Vice President against a President, maliciously taken out of logical context, as a national security concern,” Duterte noted.

“Moreover, please submit within 24 hours, an explanation in writing with legal basis why the VP is not a member of the NSC or why as member I have not been invited to the meetings, whichever is applicable," she also added.

Meanwhile, Atty. Zuleika Lopez, the chief of staff of VP Sara Duterte, wailed when she was about to be transferred to the Veterans Memorial Hospital. She embraced the vice president and was appealing to her not to leave her. The transfer order was read and effectuated by BGen. Nicolas Torre III. Lopez was ordered detained by Manila 3rd District Rep. Joel Chua following the hearing at the Quad Comm.
