Early this week, Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero has called on the LTO to name the owner, or its driver, of the SUV with plate number 7 that recently went viral. It can be recalled that the said SUV entered the bus lane and was flagged by traffic enforcers. Instead of submitting themselves to authorities, the SUV’s driver and passengers fled the scene. The incident was captured on video by one of the Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation officers and uploaded on the agency’s social media page.
It can be recalled that the video of the SUV bearing the plate number 7 being flagged down by a female enforcer at EDSA Guadalupe Station’s northbound lane, which backed away and escape, went viral. According to authorities, this happened Sunday evening, November 3, at past six in the evening. In the video uploaded by the Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation, one can see the SUV with plate number 7 trying to go forward even if the female enforcer is already blocking its path. When the enforcer did not budge, the SUV backed up until it reached an open barrier and then turned and fled with the passenger in the back flipping a birdie to the enforcers.
