Authorities reported that the woman was allegedly selling videos of her 6-year-old son to foreigners.

Although the suspect denied the allegations, evidence found on their mobile phones contradicted her claims.

Investigations revealed that the suspect and her partner began selling these videos to foreigners in the last quarter of 2023.

According to P/Lt. Wallen Arancillo, spokesperson of the PNP-ACG, they conducted case build-up, online investigation, and cyber patrolling, until they finally tracked down the suspects.

Additionally, the suspects were getting their prospective clients from dating apps and messaging platforms.

Their investigation started when one of their alleged clients got caught in Australia last month. A couple of videos of the 6-year-old boy were gathered as evidence.

From there, when Australian and Philippines authorities joined forces, they quickly deployed an entrapment operation to catch the perpetrators.

In another viral report, a 2-year-old boy named Jay Jay Navarro from San Fabian, Pangasinan, died after accidentally falling into a cooking pot filled with boiling water. In a report by GMA News, the boy's grandmother said that it was Thursday when she used the cooking pot to boil some water and then placed the pot on the side of their house; little did she know, children, including the 2-year-old boy were playing nearby. Suddenly, they heard screaming which they thought was just kids fighting over something, but when they checked what was happening, they already saw Jay Jay inside the pot. The family managed to rush the baby to a hospital; unfortunately, he died the following day.
