Former President Rodrigo Roa duterte could not attend the Quadcom hearing scheduled for Tuesday, October 22.
In a report by GMA News, it revealed that Atty. Martin Delgra III, the lawyer of former President Duterte, sent a letter to the House Committee on Dangerous Drugs informing the same that the former president wouldn’t be able to attend the hearing.
The Quadcom, which is short for Quad committee, is comprised of the House Committees on Public Order and Safety, Dangerous Drugs, Public Accounts, and Human Rights.
The super-committee is currently investigating events relating to POGO, human rights abuses, extra-judicial killings, drug trade, and related activities.

The Congressoinal Quad Committee is comprised of four separate committees and is investigating various issues like POGO, drugs, and extra judicial killings.
Meanwhile, Mylah Roque, the wife of former Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque Jr., who were also invited by the committee, reportedly already left the country early last month. This was confirmed by the Bureau of Immigration who said she left the Philippines on September 3. It can be recalled that Mrs. Roque was cited in contempt and ordered arrested last week by the House Quad Committee. Atty. Roque is one of the resource speakers in the investigation of the committee relating to POGO activities.
