- A 65-year-old grandmother died after she was allegedly killed by her son-in-law

- She was allegedly injured with the use of blunt force, and was wrapped in a mattress

- According to police officers, the suspect pawned the laptop of his daughter, and was confronted by the grandmother

- It was then when the killing allegedly also took place

A 65-year-old grandmother in Brgy. Aguado Trece Martires, Cavite was allegedly killed by her own son-in-law.

According to the report of ABS-CBN, the grandmother was found wrapped in a mattress when they found her.

According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Orlando Carag, chief of police of Trece Martires City Police Station, it was the daughter of the victim who found her mom.

“Base sa medico legal examination namin, ang cause of death is blunt force trauma 'yung kwan niya, so ibig sabihin binugbog o binali 'yung leeg,” said Carag.

The suspect allegedly pawned the laptop of his daughter, the latter then sought the help of her grandmother, and thereafter a confrontation ensued.

“Tinawagan niya [apo] ung mama informing her na iyong laptop na ginagamit nya online ay sinangla ng papa nya,” sabi ni Carag.
“Itong daughter, nakisuyo doon sa mama nya ung victim kasi around a block away from their house ung bahay ng Lola [victim]. So tinawagan niya 'yung victim kung pwede puntahan nya sa bahay 'yung mag-ama dahil nagtatalo ang dalawa dahil sa laptop,” he further explained.

In a previous report by KAMI, a 16-year-old boy jumped into a creek but unfortunately died after allegedly trying to steal a bicycle. The incident happened in Barangay Imelda, Baguio City, yesterday. According to the police's investigation, the teenager was accompanied by a 10-year-old boy in his attempt to steal a bicycle. However, a construction worker saw them and called them out; that's when they tried to flee from the scene and jumped into a creek.

In another viral story reported by KAMI, a gasoline boy was chopped in the face with a machete when a customer whom he called out got mad at him. The suspect allegedly asked for his motorcycle tank to be fully filled, however, he only paid ₱50. In a CCTV footage, the rider parked his motorcycle on one side of the gasoline station, took out a machete from his utility box, and swung it right in the face of the gasoline boy. Thankfully, the suspect was caught by a security guard, and the victim was quickly taken to the hospital and is now recovering from the wound.
