A 26-year-old American was allegedly abducted from his home in Zamboanga del Norte.

According to the report in 24 Oras, armed men entered the home of the American and grabbed him.

The alleged armed men were carrying M-16s.

He was then allegedly made to ride on a boat.

The boat was reportedly headed for Sulu or Basilan.

Authorities are still looking for him, and are following up on leads on the alleged kidnapping.

Thankfully, the suspect was caught by a security guard, and the victim was quickly taken to the hospital and is now recovering from the wound.

In another viral news story, a 2-year-old girl was hit by a pick-up vehicle by their neighbor in Masinop Street, Tondo, Manila. In a CCTV footage, children were playing on a street where the little girl was seen walking on her own. Not so far from the children was a pick-up, and just in time when it was about to move, it hit the 2-year-old kid who was rolled over by the said vehicle. The driver quickly brought the baby to the hospital but was eventually pronounced dead on arrival.
