- It can be recalled that the alleged mastermind, Anthony Limon, and six purported members of a gun-for-hire group, were all apprehended by authorities recently

Lerma Lulu’s sister, Leslie Lulu Manabat, shared a screenshot of her online convo with someone the morning after the popular online seller was ambushed and killed by gunmen.

The convo, which was in a concise form of their local dialect, appeared to show the person that Leslie was talking to in a private message online was inquiring about the wake of Lerma.

It can be recalled that Lerma Lulu, more popularly known as Lerms Lulu in the online world, was killed along with her husband, Arvin Lulu, in a broad daylight ambush at around 4PM on Friday, October 4.

In the screenshot that Leslie shared, one can see the timestamp “Oct 5 AT 8:02 AM,” showing that the conversation happened the morning after the killing of the online seller.

“Mam non ya mars lerma burol,” the person asked Leslie in the screenshot she shared, which loosely translated can mean “where would the wake of Lerma be held?”

Leslie, still in a concise form of their local dialect, answered they’re still waiting for the autopsy result but most probably it would be at the La Pieta, which refers to the La Pieta Memorial Chapels and Crematorium.

The said person then expressed her condolences to the whole family and asked them to be strong.

It can be recalled that yesterday, October 15, police authorities announced that they have recently apprehended the alleged mastermind, Anthony Limon, and six alleged members of a gun-for-hire group.

Mr. Limon, according to the police, is a close friend and business associate of the Lulu couple.

Authorities also say that Mr. Limon, who is the godfather of the six-year-old son of the Lulu couple, owed the latter about 13 million pesos.

Lerms Lulu, a popular online seller, and her husband Arvin Lulu, were killed in a broad daylight ambush in Pampanga. Lerms Lulu, whose real name is Lerma Waje Lulu, is one of the top distributors of “Brilliant Skin,” a rising cosmetic brand. In a report by Rappler quoting police authorities, the victims were onboard their vehicle when the incident happened. Many netizens, expressing shock at what happened, condoled with the family of the victims and also demanded justice for their untimely demise.

Recently, the PNP released the video of the moment the suspects in the killing of Lerms Lulu and her husband were arrested. In the video, which looked like it was taken by a drone, one can see what might be presumed as police officers apprehending a man and making him lie on the ground. In another scene, a man, who looked like he was in handcuffs, was being taken away by another police officer. It can be recalled that popular online seller Lerms Lulu, and her husband Arvin, were ambushed and killed in broad daylight last October 4.

The PNP also shared the photos of the suspects. Authorities apprehended seven individuals tagged in the murder of the couple. Tracker teams from the Mexico Municipal Police Station worked hand in hand with the Pampanga Provincial Intelligence Unit, the Regional Mobile Force Battalion and the 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Companies, had an operation from Oct. 13 to 14. The mastermind was allegedly a certain Anthony Limon, and that those who carried out the hit were gun for hire.
