- It can be recalled that Mrs. Roque was cited in contempt and ordered arrested last week by the House Quad Committee

- Atty. Roque is one of the resource speakers in the investigation of the committee relating to POGO activities

Mylah Roque, the wife of embattled former Presidential Spox Atty. Harry Roque, already left the country as early as last month.

The confirmation came from the Bureau of Immigration, who revealed Mrs. Roque left the Philippines on September 3.

It can be recalled that the House Quad Committee, a body investigating POGO activities, human rights violations, substance trafficking, and extra judicial killings or EJK, has cited Mrs. Roque in contempt and ordered arrested last week.

Her husband, Atty. Roque, is also one of the resource persons at the hearings conducted by the House Quad Comm.

Previously, Mrs. Roque said she’s been complying with the submission of documents required by the committee.

Meanwhile, an 18-year-old student in Negros Oriental died after she was hit by a motorcycle driven by a policeman who was in a hurry. Based on the report of Frontline, the student, along with her other classmates still had an activity in school, and it was also the anniversary of the said academy. The victim, and two of her classmates were crossing the road to get back to their school when the motorcycle hit them. According to the policeman, he was in a hurry to get back to Cebu because it was his birthday the following day.
