The alleged “big boss” of the controversial Lucky South 99 POGO hub in Porac, Pampanga, was arrested last night, Thursday, October 10, by combined elements of the Presidential Anti Organized Crime Commission and the Bureau of Immigration.

Like a scene from the movie, the dramatic arrest happened inside a residential subdivision in Biñan City in Laguna.

The arrested “big boss” was identified as Lyu Dong, who is also allegedly known by several other aliases including “Hao Hao,” “Boss Apao,” “Boss Bahaw,” and “Boss Boga.”

According to PAOCC spokesperson Winston Casio, the alleged “big boss” was under intense surveillance before the actual operation was launched.

In another POGO-related news, dismissed mayor Alice Leal Guo said that she's not running for mayor this coming 2025 elections. She said this during the Senate hearing about her involvement in illegal POGOs. It can be recalled that just a few days ago, her lawyer said that she would be running for mayor again in Bamban, Tarlac. Today, when asked by Senator Jinggoy Estrada, Guo said that she will not run but clean her name first on the allegations against her.

Previously, she finally revealed the name of the person who helped her escape and leave the Philippines. During the continuation of the Senate hearing against the dismissed Mayor, she wrote the name on a piece of paper instead of publicly saying it. As it turned out, the name that she wrote was a Chinese name. According to Senator Risa Hontiveros, the said name has already been mentioned in the previous sessions in the Senate.
