Mocha Uson, nag-file ng COC para sa pagkakonsehal sa Maynila

Mocha Uson, the popular vlogger, has filed her COC, running for the position of councilor of Manila.

In a report by GMA News, the vlogger could be seen holding her COC and smiling for the cameras.

In the same report of GMA, the son of former Manila mayor Isko Moreno, Joaquin Domagoso, also filed his COC for councilor.

Joaquin and Mocha are not the first celebrities who filed for their COCs and who aim to run for 2025.

In 2022, Mocha Uson took to Twitter and addressed those who were saying that she is "balimbing."

She said that first, she is a DDS, and believes and trusts Pres. Rodrigo Duterte.

Mocha then said that PRRD himself stated that Bongbong is allegedly weak, spoiled and with baggage.

At the end of her statement, she asked, "Ano pa ang ginagawa niyo diyan?"

Mocha Uson is a singer, dancer, model, political blogger, and appointive public official in the Philippines. She became popular through her girl group Mocha Girls then later became the Deputy Administrator for Membership Promotion, OFW Family Welfare, and Media Relations of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.

Previously, Mocha Uson's video, where she was voicing her support for presidential candidate Isko Moreno, has gone viral online. It was posted by the Philippine star and it has gained more than 400,000 views on Facebook as of this writing. In the video, Mayor Isko can be seen listening to Mocha's complimentary remarks about him. Furthermore, lots of netizens have aired their reactions to Mocha's statement.

Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla answered Mocha Uson’s tweet about him not defending her when she was previously attacked for her past. Mocha said the governor should defend everyone’s past, not only that of his allies. Earlier, the governor defended Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso when past photos of him scantily dressed surfaced on the Internet.
