The senatorial aspirant filed his COC on Saturday, October 5, at the Manila Hotel, according to a post by Philippine Star.
“Ang medalyon natin para hindi tayo ma-bully ng ibang bansa, kailangan may medalyon tayo: Panginoon at kasangga na ibang bansa,” said Plaza.
To recall, Plaza filed his COC for senator in 2019. However, he was disqualified after being declared a nuisance candidate.

It also worth noting that Plaza took the internet by storm after dubbing himself a “half-human, half-zombie” in an interview.

The veteran actress and politician will be running for governor of Batangas, while her eldest son, actor and host Luis, will be running for vice governor. Ryan, on the other hand, will be running for congress, specifically for representative of the 6th District of Batangas. In the photo shared by GMA News, Vilma's husband, former senator Ralph Recto, and Luis' wife, Jessy Mendiola, came with them when they filed their respective COCs.
