Man nabbed by police for allegedly selling illegal drugs to fishermen in Navotas City

- A man from Barangay Tanza, Navotas was arrested by the police authoriries, Monday, September 30

- The said 48-year-old fisherman was nabbed by Navotas Police for allegedly selling illegal drugs to his fellow fishermen

- It was also reported that the suspect was a member of a bigger group of pushers in Navotas

- He denied the allegations and told the police that he's only using illegal substance but not a pusher

A 48-year old fisherman from Tanza, Navotas was arrested by Navotas Plice for allegedly selling illegal drugs to his fellow fishermen.

In a report by GMA News Online, the man was believed to be a member of a bigger group of drug pushers in Navotas.

“Madalas gumagamit sila ng bangka para hindi sila mahuli ng pulis,” said Navotas police patrol operations chief Police Major Anthony Mondejar. “Iyong pagtawid nila sa ibang lugar, sa karatig na siyudad ng Navotas kaya nahihirapan tayong tuntunin talaga siya, kung saan iyong partikular na tinatambayan ng suspek natin.”

However, the allegations were denied by the suspect. He told the police authorities that he's only using illegal drugs but not selling them.
