"PRESS RELEASE: To all media and social media friends.
Title: A VISION Came To Me Today.
Similar to a FINAL CALL for all leaders who love the Philippines (Sept. 19, 2024, 11am) Please-share-
In my vision, I saw many capable and honest Filipino leaders who want to serve the country. But they were being HELD BACK because of fear of dirty politics, lack of campaign funds and fear of RIDICULE.
Why did I get sick now with this huge cancer at age 61? The timing is right before the filing of CoCs. It is SYNCHRONICITY.
FOR THOSE WHO WILL HEED THE CALL, I BELIEVE this is the right time for you. Pray and ponder quickly. Do not put your hopes in traditional politicians. Many are already disillusioned and stuck in the corrupt system.
Watch out for wolves in sheep's clothing scamming you for money. Be wary of those who offer you large amounts of campaign funds. That is the source of corruption should the candidate win. They will hold a noose around your neck. Their suggestions are for their own interest and ROI. This is mostly detrimental to the people's needs.
Finally, it does not matter if you lose like me. Let them mock and laugh. It's how you use your newfound knowledge for the greater good. Rise up again even from the grave.
I have NEVER accepted any campaign funds from oligarchs and politicians in my life. You can ask Isko and he will tell you how I refused to accept any money. You can ask your favorite candidate what is the source of his or her funds for TV and soc med ads. My strict principle gives me comfort that I took the path less travelled.
Filing of certificate of candidacy is on October 1 to 8, 2024. You have a week to decide because it takes a lot of time to prepare your CoC.
File for yourself. File for your country. You will learn a lot, I promise, whatever position you choose.
I love you all. Truly.
Mabuhay ka.

A day after his announcement, the Doc Willie penned a lengthy and meaningful post about his cancer diagnosis.
