Video ng “body-double” umano ni Alice Guo na humarap sa NBI, usap-usapan

Alice Leal Guo is the Mayor of the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac. She won as mayor during the national elections in 2022. She became known nationwide after her name was dragged into the ongoing Senate investigations regarding Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) and the alleged proliferation of illegal immigrants. Her name has been the subject of many online memes since then.

During the hearing conducted by the Senate, Alice revealed the name of the person who helped her escape and leave the Philippines. During the continuation of the Senate hearing against the dismissed Mayor, she wrote the name on a piece of paper instead of publicly saying it. As it turned out, the name that she wrote was a Chinese name. According to Senator Risa Hontiveros, the said name has already been mentioned in the previous sessions in the Senate.

Recently, Mayor Liseldo Calugay, the suspected boyfriend of Alice, also showed up at the senate hearing. He was asked by Sen. Jinggoy Estrada over his absence during the last hearing. Sen. Joel Villanueva asked the mayor if he and Guo were "lovers in POGO." He said that they were not in a relationship, but Estrada followed up and asked about their matching shirts.
