16-anyos na nagnakaw umano ng steel, binaril sa ulo sa loob ng barangay hall

- A 16-year-old boy was shot dead right inside a barangay hall in Cabuyao, Laguna

- In a report by Saksi of GMA News, someone went to the home of the victim asking him to go to the barangay hall for questioning

- The subject of the inquiry was the steel bars that were allegedly stolen from the suspect who was a farmer

- That very night, the suspect, who was drunk, entered the hall and shot the victim

A 16-year-old teenager, John Christian Valenzuela or "Dadoy," was shot in the head right inside the barangay hall on Sunday night.

In a report by Nico Waje of Saksi or GMA News, the kid was asked to go to the barangay hall in Cabuyao, Laguna, to be asked about an incident of theft of steel bars from a farmer.

“May pumunta po dito na hinahanap daw po yung anak ko at sangkot daw po siya sa pagnanakaw po ng bakal. Pumunta raw po ‘yung anak ko doon,” the mother of Dadoy said.

While there, the suspect entered the premises drunk and shot the victim.

Cabuyao Police Chief Lieutenant Colonel John Eric Antonio, said that the victim was just there for questioning.

“Itong bata natin is nandoon lang for questioning regarding sa mga nangyayaring theft incident,” he said.
“Biglang dumating tong suspek natin tinatanong yung bata sa barangay hall tapos eto na nangyari na ang insidente,” he added.

The suspect admitted to the crime.
