According to the report by GMA News' 24 Oras, the crime was recorded on the CCTV of Barangay 86.

The footage shows the suspect circling the area as early as 7:00 am, seemingly waiting for the right moment to attack.

The victim, who worked at a department store, was walking along Gerona Street when he was approached by a man on a motorcycle.

When the victim passed by, the suspect rode up to him, drew a gun, and fired twice at close range, causing the victim to collapse on the side of the road.

The assailant, who was wearing a helmet and had no plates on his motorcycle, flew the scene right after.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident to identify and apprehend the suspect.
