A 15-year-old student in Naic, Cavite, died after drowning at sea.
According to a report by ABS-CBN, the student allegedly skipped classes together with six of his friends.
The victim was a Grade 10 student, and was reportedly drinking by the beach in Barangay Bucana with his friends.
Unfortunately, a huge wave hit them, and the victim was taken to the sea.

Thereafter, he was reported as missing around 3:30 p.m., while the rest of his friends were safe.
The Philippine Coast Guard launched a search and rescue operation following the incident, but nighttime came and the victim still was not found.
It was only the following day when the PCG rescuer and some Bantay Dagat personnel found the body of the victim floating on sea.
