A mother and her child residing in Pampanga have passed away after one of the walls in their house crashed on them due to soil erosion.

According to the Angeles CDRRMO, the victims were residing near the Abacan River when soil erosion occurred due to continuous rainfall.

Eventually, one of the walls in their house was affected and came crashing down on them, leading to the deaths of the mother and her child.

Meanwhile, the father managed to survive and was immediately rushed to the hospital after sustaining injuries to his body due to the incident.

Meanwhile, the body of a 24-year-old woman was found in Abuera, Leyte, on Wednesday, July 17. On the initial investigation, the woman went to Cebu and was about to go home before her body was discovered. The victim was identified to be Paula Gonzalo, an SK Kagawad at the Barangay South of Ormoc City.
