A 29-year-old construction worker admitted to killing his live-in partner and chopping her into pieces in Lucena City, Quezon.
According to Inquirer.net, Lieutenant Colonel William Angway Jr., Lucena Police Chief, reported that on July 22, investigators were asking the suspect identified as Ryan Porga for information about the victim named Ronalyn Alvarez, 29, who had been missing since June 30.
He suddenly “went emotional” and confessed that he had killed his partner, the police said.
In a report by Manila Bulletin, Porga stabbed the victim in the chest to death with an icepick during a heated argument in their shanty on June 30. Afterwards, he chopped Alvarez’s body with a jungle bolo into three pieces (head, body, and legs).
