President Bongbong Marcos, in response to the clamor of Filipinos, has declared a total ban on all POGO operations.
“At ngayon po, naririnig po namin ang malakas na sigaw ng taumbayan laban sa mga POGO,” the President Marcos said, pointing out that it’s the clamor of the people that made him issue the order against POGOs.
“Disguising as legitimate entities, their operations have ventured into illicit areas furthest from gaming, such as financial scamming, money laundering, prostitution, human trafficking, kidnapping, brutal torture, even murder,” the president added.
He also frowned on the alleged “grave abuse and disrespect” of entities in charge of POGO operations of Philippine laws.
