The suspect in the killing of three guests in a hotel in Tagaytay City about a week ago was seen in a CCTV footage wearing a pair of shoes identical to the one worn by one of the victims.

It can be recalled that last July 10, a hotel personnel discovered the lifeless bodies of two Filipinas and one Australian in one of the hotel’s rooms.
Authorities identified the victims as David Fisk, an Australian national, his Filipina-Aussie wife Lucita Cortez, and the latter’s relative, Mary Jane Cortez.
According to authorities, the hands and feet of the victims were tied with sholaces and an electrical cord, with their mouths covered with packaging tape.

The hotel’s CCTV footage shown a person wearing a hoodie going in and out of the rooms of the victims hours before their bodies were discovered.
Almost after a week after the discovery of the bodies, a 31-year-old person surrendered to the police, though authorities said they were already able to establish the identity of the suspect through CCTV footage before he turned himself in.
Recently, authorities also revealed that based on the CCTV footage they have of the suspect, they were able to gather more evidences that can be used in the case against him.
In the CCTV footage shared by GMA Integrated News, it showed that the suspect was seen wearing the same pair of shoes seen worn by one of the victims, Australian David Fisk.
“Yung rubber shoes na suot (ng suspect) ay same na rubber shoes na suot nung ating biktima na lalaki na si David Fisk na Australian national,” Tagaytay City Police chief P/Lt Col Charles Capagcuan, said.

Several days ago, the suspect behind the killing of three victims in a hotel in Tagaytay City has voluntarily surrendered. According to a report by Balitanghali, the suspect surrendered to the chairman of Barangay Toong and to Tuy, Batangas Mayor Jey Cerrado. The 31-year-old suspect is a former employee of the hotel and allegedly took revenge against the hotel’s management for his termination. The suspect, who is in the custody of Tagaytay City police, will be facing the charge of robbery with multiple homícide.
It can be recalled that the victims, an Australian and his Pinay wife, together with another Pinay, were found dead in a hotel in Tagaytay. According to a report by 24 Oras, a hotel staff went up to inform them of their checkout and it was then that the staff found the bodies of the victims. Based on the narration of the reporter, the police stated that the bodies were tied in both their hands and feet. Their mouths were also covered with tape.
