The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has released a statement following the viral photo of the PWD ramp located at the PhilAm station of the EDSA Busway.
Many criticisms were thrown due to the perceived steepness based on the viral photo.
The MMDA noted that there was a height restriction, which they needed to follow in constructing the said ramp.
They also said that while the design was not perfect, it would still be a big help for senior citizens, pregnant women and PWDs using the ramp.

It also stated, that as compared to the viral photo, it does not actually look that steep.
