Two men died after being struck by lightning in General Trias City, Cavite, on Thursday.
According to the police, the men were walking home after bathing in the rain when a sharp lightning bolt struck.
They were both thrown to the ground and sustained burns on various parts of their bodies.

Cavite was one of the areas included in PAGASA's thunderstorm advisory on Thursday.

In a previous report by KAMI, A motorcycle rider was shot multiple times by a man in Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City. This incident was captured on CCTV and occurred around 9 PM on Monday. The victim, John Mark Robedillo, was identified as dead on the spot. Furthermore, the suspect reportedly had a previous altercation with the victim over a dispute.
Earlier, a female OFW was recently found dead in her rented room in Malate, Manila. The murder suspect is reportedly the live-in partner of seven years, according to a report by "Frontline sa Umaga." The suspect has also confessed to the killing and that it was motivated by jealousy. Moreover, the Manila Police District's section has now taken the suspect into custody.
KAMI also reported about Renz Llorente, a fresh graduate, drowned in Malogo River while celebrating his graduation. He was swimming with friends when the strong current, caused by heavy rain, led to the accident. The incident happened in Barangay Nanca, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental. Llorente had just graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration two days before the tragedy.
