Authorities are looking at possible negligence in the death of two boys who were found lifeless in an abandoned car in Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.
As per “Balitanghali” report, the mother of the boys will be the subject of investigation for potential negligence.
A report by GMA Regional TV also quoted PCPT. Jester Calis, Chief of Sto. Tomas Police Station, stating that the police or the boy’s relatives could file a complaint once proven that there was negligence on the part of the mother.
"Posible ‘yun, may batas tayo na nagpoprotekta sa mga bata gaya ng child abuse... kami ang mag-file or yung sa mga kamag-anak,” said Calis.

According to earlier reports, an autopsy conducted on the siblings aged 5 and 6 points to suffocation as the cause of death. Police also found out that the kids struggled inside the car and desperately attempted to escape before they died, as evidenced by handprints on the windows.
