A father, Jose Alvarez, mourned the death of two of his children.
His eldest daughter Ymae Alvarez, 26, and youngest, Ronju, 17, passed away even before he got to arrive from America.
Based on the report of GMA News, it was in 2022 when he last saw his children.
He was already planning to retire abroad and stay in PH for good, but unfortunately, his two children died before he ever got to go home and be with them.

"Tinatanong ko ro'n ang God. Ang sabi ko, 'Bakit ganito ang buhay?" he revealed in GMA News.
His video where he could be seen playing his guitar in front of the coffins of his children touched hearts.
He still has one daughter, Yliah Alvarez, who on her own social media account also expressed how sad she is over the death of her siblings.

As per an earlier report by ABS-CBN, authorities were able to locate the initially suspected burial site after a witness came forward. After an investigation of the two corpses found in the site, it was confirmed that indeed they were the Pampanga beauty queen Geneva Lopez and her Israeli fiancé Yitzhak Cohen.
