Gov't agency sa Cagayan de Oro, nagpaliwanag sa baligtad na pagkakalagay ng watawat

The Bureau of Local Government Finance Region X has addressed the inverted display of the Philippine flag at its office in Cagayan de Oro.

As per GMA Regional TV’s report, the agency clarified that what happened was an “honest mistake.”

According to BLGF-10, the flag was placed on the pole by their liaison officer who has a disability. It explained that the officer may not have noticed that the flag was positioned upside down. The inverted flag was taken down immediately.

Furthermore, the agency urged the public to refrain from spreading false information and speculations that could cause panic.
