She also said that she is okay with them selling the property, but she must be allowed to pass through it in order to reach her home as well since they live in a single compound.

As per the narration of the daughter-in-law, they only defend themselves because it is always the old man and woman who would hurt them.

Despite this, Nanay said that she still loves her son.

"Sakit sir uy, nine months dito sa tiyan ko, na ipinanganak, pinalaki, pinakain, pina-eskwela, ngayon yun gawin nila sa akin...kasi mahal ko yung anak ko," said nanay who was already in tears.

Posts, such as photos or videos, that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, such could also happen to ordinary people.

An example of a news post that has gone viral is that of the husband and wife from Zamboanga del Norte who perished while transporting their dead baby. According to a report by KAMI, the family was on their way home when the tragic accident happened. The couple was rushed to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.

Another news post that also went viral involved a single mom’s dream of getting a job abroad, which crumbled down because of the “Wattah Wattah” Festival in San Juan City. A Facebook user shared screengrabs from an FB group featuring a lengthy post made by a member of that group. In that post, the said member narrated her harrowing experience with the city’s “basaan” tradition, which led her to lose the chance to be considered for a job. The heartbreaking story has since then been carried by major news outlets, including Interaskyon.
