In her post, she said she decided to seek an overseas job because she’s the only one supporting their family.

She then said that she’s applied to many agencies in the past and after almost a year, she received an email telling her to come for an interview on June 24.

The single mom then said that she has secured all requirements needed by an agency that sends manpower to Europe, which include the National Bureau of Investigation clearance, her school transcript of records, and many other official docs.

She revealed that she borrowed her outfit and shoes for the interview and placed all her original docs in a brown envelope.

The single mom then said that she didn’t realized that day was San Juan’s Fiesta.

“’Di ko naman sukat akalaing Fiesta ng San Juan,” she said in her post.
Nanghiram lang ako ng damit,’” she narrated.
At ‘di pa sila nakuntento.

When she arrived at the agency, she appealed to them to move the interview to another day as she needs to secure another set of original docs and also a fresh change of clothes.

Unfortunately, the agency told her there were no other dates available as that was the only time the employer would be available to interview applicants.

“Kaya sinabihan na ako nang, ‘Sorry, but you are considered FAILED.’ Halos gumuho mundo ko. Pati mga requirements ko basang-basa,” she said in her post.
Nagmakaawa.

Near the end of her post, the woman wished those living in San Juan a “happy fiesta,” saying that their one day of festivities resulted in her lifelong dream to crumble down.

Nagmakaawa. Pero hindi kayo nakinig. Umiyak, pero nagtatawanan pa kayo. Happy Fiesta. ‘Yung isang araw na fiesta ninyo, isang buong pangarap ko po ang naglaho,” the woman concluded in her post.

Posts, such as photos or videos, that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, such could also happen to ordinary people.

An example of this it the recent post of a Latin honor graduate, Khastria Ruezel Sevilla Caballe, who took to Facebook to vent her frustrations. She revealed that she felt so pressured from her family, with regards to when she will be taking the board exam despite herself having a job. She also shared how she would hear "sayang pinag-aralan mo" if she would not be teaching. The graduate simply wanted to let everyone know that she already makes her decisions and that she has her own timeline as well, and it may not always be aligned to what her relatives see or feel.
