The recent post and report about a Grade 12 student in Bacolod City who works as a part-time mime artist and waiter just so he would have money to use for his studies has gone viral.
The local news outlet, Radyo Bandera Bacolod City, also included several photos of the student doing his stuff as a mime artist on the side of the road in the downtown area of the city.
In the photos, he is shown wearing an all-white outfit and appeared to be entertaining passers-by.
According to Radyo Bandera, the name of the student is Ritchard and he is in the 12th grade at the Singcang-Airport National High School.

It was also reported that Ritchard also works as a part-time waiter in a restaurant so he could earn enough to spend for his school needs.
After a netizen posted a video of Ritchard on social media, other media entities like GMA7, particularly in the 24Oras’ segment #KuyaKimAnoNa, also covered the story of Bacolod mime artist.
According to the #KuyaKimAnoNa report, Ritchard would go home after classes to prepare his costume, which takes about 30 minutes, and then would proceed to his usual place and perform there for about 3 hours.
Kuya Kim said that the earnings of Ritchard from his performance is a great help to his family.
“Minsan P200, P300, yung pinakamalaking kita ko po ay P700,” Ritchard said in the GMA7 interview.
