The video of a boodle fight in a barangay in Bacolod City has gone viral with many netizens reacting and posting comments about it.

As of posting, the said boodle fight video, which has been posted by Digicast Negros, a local online news outfit, has already gained around 52K reacts and 18K comments with over 2.2 million views.

According to Digicast, the banquet was in commemoration of the so-called Lechon Festival in Bacolod City’s Barangay Cabug, and is part of their series of events for their annual charter day anniversary celebration.

What made the said boodle fight different from others is that instead of eating the food right at the table where it is served, one can see several people grabbing the lechon piled in the middle of the table by the handful and taking it away.

Near the end of the video, it appeared as if the only thing that remained plentiful on the table was the rice.

Only very few pieces of lechon can be seen on the banquet table, most of it previously taken by participants and placed right in front of the rice that they’re eating.

In one instance in the video, a participant was even seen grabbing a piece of lechon away from a co-participant standing beside her because there isn’t any lechon left in the middle after a couple of people grabbed and carted it away.

Netizens had a field day in writing their own comments to the video.

“Salamat sa nag-video at nakita ko lahat ng mga hitsura ng mga matatakaw at marurumi sa lugar ninyo,” wrote one netizen.

“Kawawa naman ang iba wala nang ulam. dapat hindi ganon para lahat makakain,” said another.

The said video not only earned hilarious responses from netizens but even from local celebrities as well.
