Quarantine hotel ni Poblacion Girl, hiling ay "public will be kind enough"

- Berjaya Hotel, the hotel where Gwyneth Chua was quarantined, has released its official statement

- It stated that it was dismayed with the recent quarantine violation involving the establishment

- As per their statement, while they initially chose to remain silent in order to give way to an investigation and to put things for resolution, the conversations on the said violation has become out of hand

- The hotel emphasized that it does not tolerate such acts and also hoped for the public to be kind enough

Berjaya Makati Hotel, the hotel where Gwyneth Anne Chua, more popularly known as "Poblacion Girl," has released its official statement following the raucous behind the quarantine violation.

"We in Berjaya Makati Hotel are dismayed at the recent quarantine violation involving our hotel. We deeply empathize with the concerns of the public," was the initial statement of the hotel.

It then stated that it was releasing the statement to speak on behalf of the management and people, highlighting that it supports government agencies and the IATF for all protocols.

The hotel also noted in its statement that for the past two years, it has serviced 150,000 quarantine guests and was able to release them all safely.

At the end of its one-page official statement, it appealed for kindness from the public.

"As we try our best to survive and remain afloat in business in this continuing pandemic, we hope authorities and the public will be kind enough and consider that we don't just protect Berjaya, we stand for our employees, stakeholders, guests, reputations and of course our families."

Gwyneth Anne Chua, also known as Poblacion Girl, was the balikbayan who skipped quarantine just to party with friends but was later caught.

Carlos Laurel, one of the attendees of the party that Poblacion Girl attended, took to Facebook and explained his side. He is a model and an aspiring politician, and in a group picture that has circulated on social media, he was beside Gwyneth Anne Chua. According to Carlos, who happens to be the cousin of Denise Laurel, he immediately isolated himself and informed close contacts, but clarified that Gwyneth was not even invited to the party. He said that she was the "girlfriend of a friend of my younger cousins who passed by at the end of dinner."

The parents of Gwyneth Anne Chua, aka Poblacion Girl, will be included in the criminal charges that the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) will be filing. CIDG will be filing the appropriate case against Chua, along with eight other people who skipped quarantine. It was reported that the parents of Chua allegedly took part by picking her up from the hotel and bringing her back there. Aside from the parents of Chua, hotel staff would likewise be charged.
