A dimsum maker from Malate, Tayson, won the P650,000 jackpot on ABS-CBN’s noontime show "It’s Showtime" during its “Laro Laro Pick” segment on Wednesday, February 11.

Tayson secured the prize after correctly answering the contest’s “Pot” question, which asked how many men have served as president of the Philippines from Emilio Aguinaldo to the present. Overjoyed, he expressed his gratitude immediately after winning.
“Salamat, Lord,” Tayson said.
He also shared how the prize would help him achieve his dreams.

“Marami po kasi akong pangarap na matupad sana, 'yun po ang hiling. Ngayon natupad, sana matupad ang plano ko sa buhay,” he added.
When asked by host Vice Ganda how he knew the correct answer.
Tayson explained, “Nagre-research po kasi lagi ako. Gusto ko po talaga manalo rito.”
Vice highlighted the importance of diligence and preparation in achieving success.
“Malaking bagay ang pagsasaliksik. Ang mga karagdagang kaalaman natin mula sa pagsasaliksik ay maaring magbigay sa atin ng magandang pagkakataon, katulad ngayon. Hindi siya nagse-settle sa alam niya lang. Nagre-research siya at 'yung pagre-research niya at 'yung karagdagang kaalaman niya ang nagbitbit sa kanya rito at magpapauwi sa kanya ng P650,000,” Ganda said.
