Kuya Kim Atienza took to Instagram to share his scary experience today before hosting live the GMA show “TiktoClock.”
The television host and the rest of the staff and crew of the show had to evacuate the GMA building due to the magnitude 6.2 earthquake in Batangas that was felt even in Metro Manila.
Five minutes before the live program started, Kuya Kim and the staff and crew all ran inside to quickly prepare for the show.
Some of the netizens praised Kuya Kim and company for their professionalism and their resolve to do their jobs even after experiencing an earthquake.

Kuya Kim Atienza is the son of Lito Atienza, a well-known politician. He is famous for his broad knowledge and love for animals. He worked as a politician from 1995 till 2004. He became the weather anchor of the ABS-CBN newscast, "TV Patrol", and also hosted the educational show "Matanglawin" on the same network. He transferred to GMA in 2021.
Earlier, Kuya Kim took to Twitter and expressed his thoughts about the viral issue of Zeinab Harake and Wilbert Tolentino. He gave valuable advice to all those people who are already famous. The TV host said that fame is just so fleeting and temporary. He then added that one must be very careful whenever he or she is posting anything once he has already become famous.
This particular advice received a bit of bashing from some netizens who called Kuya Kim “hindi na matunog” and “laos” following his post. The unsolicited remarks of bashers prompted the award-winning TV host to respond.
