Chito Miranda took to social media to share an important update about his Parokya ni Edgar bandmate Gab Chee Kee, who got hospitalized for a while due to lymphoma and pneumonia.

The rock star revealed that Gab has been discharged from the hospital and was finally able to come home.

He spent a total of two months in the hospital — the first month in the ICU while intubated. According to Chito, Gab was also able to survive different operations for the complications brought about by his condition.

Furthermore, Chito thanked all of the people who helped raise funds for Gab’s medical bills, which ballooned to around P8 million. However, Gab’s ordeal is not yet done, as he will resume chemotherapy for lymphoma.

“After 2 months in the hospital due to pneumonia (more than a month dun, intubated sa ICU), and after several major and minor operations dealing with complications brought about by his condition, sa wakas...pina-uwi na si Gab sa bahay nila.

“Dahil sa tulong ninyo, he survived. Maraming maraming salamat talaga!!!

“He was able to get the best medical attention dahil nagtulung-tulong tayo...and now, he could finally continue with his chemotherapy.

“Kelangan nya lang magpalakas para makayanan nya yung chemo. The important thing is that we are back on track.

“Kumbaga, balik tayo sa main event...his fight against Lymphoma. We will win this battle.

“Many years from now, when me and my bandmates are old and gray, babalik balikan namin nila Gab yung kwento about how he fought and survived cancer, and how everyone helped out...and it will always be one hell of an inspirational story,” Chito posted.

Chito Miranda is a famous music artist known as the frontman of the iconic OPM band Parokya Ni Edgar. He married actress Neri Naig on December 13, 2014 and they have an adorable son named Miggy. In October 2021, Neri gave birth to their second child Manuel Alfonso Miranda, whose nickname is Cash.

As previously reported by KAMI, Chito Miranda was stunned over his wife Neri’s birthday present to him. Neri gifted the Parokya Ni Edgar frontman a brand new Toyota Hilux-Conquest. The celebrity mom took to social media to share a video of Chito reacting to the pickup truck. In the video, the famous musician even took a test drive of his new vehicle.
