In an interview with Julius Babao on February 22, former "Eat Bulaga" host Toni Rose Gayda revealed a surprising revelation about her time on the iconic noontime show.

During the interview, Toni Rose disclosed that fellow host Vic Sotto had expressed his desire to court her when they were co-hosts on "Eat Bulaga.” She also explained why she did not allow Vic to court her.

"Hindi ko pinayagan. Maybe, ganon (nagparamdam) konti. Pero kasi mahirap kung karelasyon mo ‘yung kasama mo mahirap lalo for me kasi nga sabi ko selosa ako."

Furthermore, Toni Rose opened up about her decision to depart from "Eat Bulaga" in 2014 after nearly 18 years of hosting the show. She cited personal reasons, including her mother's illness and her children's hospitalization, as the primary factors influencing her departure.

“It came into a point nagkasakit mommy ko, dalawang anak ko nasa hospital for different reasons may sakit rin sila non. Hindi ko nakayanan. Sabi ko, I cannot give my best and nahiya naman ako kay Mr. Tuviera and kay Malou.
“I talked to Malou, sabi ko aalis na lang ako. Sabi niya, ‘Does that mean you’re resigning?’ Una indefinite leave. Sabi ko, ‘Siguro Malou, ganon na nga’ kasi I’ll have to attend muna to my mom and my kids kasi kailangan talaga tutok,” Toni Rose said.

Vic Sotto is a legendary actor, comedian and television host in the Philippines. He is married to Pauleen Luna. They have two adorable daughters named Talitha Maria or Tali and Thia Marceline or Mochi.
