Talent manager and entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz took to Facebook to share his thoughts on the recent social media buzz surrounding rumored unfollowing activities involving celebrities Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, and Andrea Brillantes.

In a post on his official Facebook page, Ogie Diaz acknowledged the escalating rumors of follow-unfollow actions, speculating that supporters of Kathryn Bernardo may be unfollowing Andrea Brillantes due to unverified rumors linking Daniel Padilla to the latter.

Ogie’s post read, "Grabe na yung isyu ng follow-unfollow. Dahil maraming nagmamahal kay Kathryn Bernardo, bilang pakikisama, ayun, pinag-a-unfollow nila si Andrea Brillantes."

Attempting to lighten the situation, Ogie reassured Kathryn, Daniel, and another individual, presumably referring to Andrea, that he would not unfollow them on Instagram, even if they don't follow him back.

Anyway, wag kayong mag-alala, Kathryn, DJ at Blythe. Kahit di n’yo ako pina-follow sa instagram ko (@ogie_diaz), hindi ko kayo ia-unfollow.

Expressing the tension surrounding online interactions in current times, Ogie humorously contemplated the consequences of unfollowing someone in the public eye, stating, "Nakaka-tense na sa mga panahon ngayon na mababalita kung ina-unfollow mo ang isang tao."

In a playful manner, he pondered the idea of deactivating his own Instagram account, questioning whether such an action would go viral.

“Eh, paano nga kung i-unfollow ko yang tatlong bagets na yan tapos hindi naman maibalita o ma-viral na ‘Ogie Diaz, in-unfollow na sina KathNiel at Andrea!‘

“Ako pa napahiya, di ba? Kaya ayoko nang mag-dare mag-unfollow. Baka sabihin, isa’t kalahating inggitera lang ako.

“Pero ano nga kaya kung i-deactivate ko yung IG ko? Ma-viral na kaya?”

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.” She was a member of The Gold Squad, along with her “Kadenang Ginto” co-stars Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin. Andrea used to be in a romantic relationship with basketball player Ricci Rivero until their breakup around June of 2023.

During a recent Halloween Ball called Shake, Rattle and Ball 2023, Andrea sported a spooky look that caught the attention of many. The actress took to Instagram Stories to talk about her costume. The 20-year-old star shared the materials used for the outfit. She also tackled how challenging it was to wear and remove the costume.

Around the same time, she also took to IG Stories and shared a line from a song. The line was "I can make your life a living hell if I wanted to." Along with the song, Andrea shared a photo of her "Lilith" costume at the Opulence Ball 2023. The song that Andrea posted also coincides with the character that she chose.
