Furthermore, Lolit advised celebrities to not force themselves on networks that no longer want to work with them. She added that celebrities know they lost their fame when their stories, projects, comments, and jokes are no longer getting attention from the public.

“Bakit ba mahirap tanggapin pag laos na o wala na sa eksena ang isang celebrity Salve ? Bakit hindi nila tanggapin with grace na hindi na tulad ng dati ang kasikatan nila. Bakit kailangan pang gumawa ng alibi at palusot ?

“Hindi ba puwede manahimik at mawala muna sandali sa eksena, mag enjoy sa retirement at huwag ng kung anuano pang dahilan ang sinasabi.

“Alam mo na hindi ka na sikat pag wala ng natatawa sa jokes mo, pag hindi na nadadala ng mga drama mo ang tao, pag wala ng interest sa mga sinasabi mo. Mas maganda na tahimik mo itong tanggapin, mas respetuhin ka pa ng mga kasamahan mo.

“Mahirap man tanggapin ito ang talagang reality, minsan nasa itaas ka, minsan nasa ibaba. Hindi ka puwede manatili sa itaas habang buhay, tiyak na meron kang kapalit, kaya huwag ng magpilit. Mabuti nga kung nalaos ka ng financially stable ka , at least hindi ka mukhang kawawa dahil may pera ka.

“Kaya no more alibis, tanggapin ng wala ka na sa eksena, laos ka na. Hayaan mo ng pumili ng kapalit mo ang network, huwag ng ipilit ang sarili. Kawawa naman kung malugi lang dahil sa iyo di ba, marami mawawalan ng trabaho, sad iyon di ba ? Bongga Salve at Gorgy, itatanong pa ba kung sino ang celebrity na ito, wah na di ba ? Bongga,” Lolit said.

In a previous post, Manay Lolit slammed some managers whom she said were fond of “power tripping” and a hypocrite. The veteran showbiz columnist did not identify the managers though she indicated that they’re fond of canceling people at press conferences. By using the word “ipokrita” to describe one of the said managers, she hinted that it is a woman. Manay Lolit said that a manager’s jinx even rubbed off her talent, which is why their team is in a quandary on how to improve the image of their star.

She also said in another socmed post that she allegedly felt like she was a victim of “budol” after giving someone P700K. She then quickly summarized what happened at the time, saying that the person she allegedly gave the money to was a “fast talker.” The showbiz columnist then realized that even though she’s already a veteran, such things can still happen to her. Manay Lolit then wondered how the person allegedly convinced her to release P700K.
