Lolit Solis gave a warning to her Instagram followers about “panunumbat,” which happens when a person scolds another person indebted to him by reminding him of the favors he granted.
According to Lolit, a person who grants a favor should never bring it up when a conflict arises.

”Panunumbat” became a hot topic in Philippine showbiz lately after Willie Revillame lambasted some of the showbiz personalities criticizing him publicly. Willie reminded them of the favors he granted them after they criticized him for trying to garner sympathy for ALLTV, which recently temporarily suspended some of its programs. However, Lolit did not specify if she was referring to Willie’s controversy in her post about “panunumbat.”
“Isang bagay ang hindi maganda Salve pag nagkaruon kayo ng falling out ng dati mong kaibigan. Iyon magsumbatan kayo ng mga bagay na ibinigay nyo sa isa't isa.
“Ang samang pakinggan lalo na at materyal na bagay ang pinag-uusapan o kaya isinusumbat. Kasi basta ibinigay mo, dapat tapos na dahil binigay mo na. Imposible din na magbigay ka na walang ginawa para sa iyo ang binigyan mo. For sure kaya ka nagbigay dahil grateful ka sa nagawa ng tao na binigyan mo...
“Pag bigay, bigay. Dapat buong puso ang pagbibigay, walang sumbatan. Wala dapat bawian. Kaya iwasan nyo mga tao na mahilig manumbat. Walang kuwenta ang mga ganitong tao, be careful , bongga,” Lolit said.

In a previous post, Manay Lolit slammed some managers whom she said were fond of “power tripping” and a hypocrite. The veteran showbiz columnist did not identify the managers though she indicated that they’re fond of canceling people at press conferences. By using the word “ipokrita” to describe one of the said managers, she hinted that it is a woman. Manay Lolit said that a manager’s jinx even rubbed off her talent, which is why their team is in a quandary on how to improve the image of their star.
She also said in another socmed post that she allegedly felt like she was a victim of “budol” after giving someone P700K. She then quickly summarized what happened at the time, saying that the person she allegedly gave the money to was a “fast talker.” The showbiz columnist then realized that even though she’s already a veteran, such things can still happen to her. Manay Lolit then wondered how the person allegedly convinced her to release P700K.
