Xian Lim’s mom on person who accused her of not raising her son well: “I feel sorry for you”

Xian Lim and his mother, Mary Anne Cruz Lim, were special guests on a YouTube vlog episode by Kim Chiu.

KAMI learned that during their guesting, Xian and his mom spoke about the topic of getting bashed.

According to Mary Anne, it is painful for her to see her son get bashed but she chooses not to engage with the haters.

“It’s really painful. Pero hindi kami pumapatol," she said.

Xian agreed with his mom’s approach, saying that people should not get affected by what others write on social media.

“I think lalo na sa panahon ngayon, hindi rin naman dapat pagtuunan siya ng pansin.

“Not just for artistas but, you know, sa mga nanonood ngayon na mga bata, kasi di ba easily affected yung mga tao ngayon kasi everyone has their opinion dahil may social media na,” Xian shared.

Furthermore, Xian revealed that her mom has even been accused of not raising her son well.

“Di ba mom meron pa nga, hindi na natin papangalanan pero meron pa ngang yung sinabing hindi mo raw ako pinalaki nang maayos,” he said.

Instead of getting angry at the person, Mary Anne chose to feel compassion and empathy for her basher.

“Yes, I feel so sad to that person. That person knows that we are talking about that person. I feel sorry for you,” she said.

Kim Chiu is one of the most well-known and prominent female showbiz personalities in the Philippines. The actress broke through in showbiz by joining Pinoy Big Brother. She is in a relationship with actor Xian Lim.

In a previous report, Kim Chiu wasn’t able to stop her tears from falling while watching the fireworks display at the Disney World. This was what she revealed in a socmed post where she said she experienced mixed emotions as she stood in the middle of what she called “the most magical place on earth.” The actress also said that the fireworks display she’s watching seemed to her “like a fairy godmother” telling her that “anything is possible and everything will be alright.” Kim said that while she’s not going through something, tears still fell from her eyes without her even knowing why.

KAMI also reported that Kim Chiu was asked about Xian Lim during a Q&A session with her followers via Instagram stories. A netizen asked the actress how proud she is of her now-director boyfriend. The Kapamilya star then shared that she is "super super beyond mega uber proud of him."
