In her post, Yasmien penned a heartfelt tribute, looking back at her humble beginnings as a starry-eyed young fan of the singer:
"Congratulations Ms. Lea Salonga, on your well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! I’ve been a fan of yours for as long as I can remember. I still remember being a newbie actress at 14 years old and literally chasing your car during one of your guestings for SOP, hoping I could get your autograph and a photo with you. That little girl could never have imagined that years later, I would have the privilege of sharing the stage with you."
