Held at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City on June 18, the World Class Excellence Japan Awards celebrated its 10th year of honoring outstanding professionals and artists for their achievements and contributions.
The Kapuso actress received the Best Actress recognition for her role as Emma in Mommy Dearest, making it the first Best Actress trophy she has won in her career.
Katrina took to Instagram to share her gratitude and reflect on the achievement.

"First Best Actress Award mula sa World Class Excellence Japan Awards. Isang malaking karangalan po ito para sa akin bilang artista at bilang isang taong patuloy na nagsisikap na pagbutihin ang aking craft," she wrote.
The celebrity described the recognition as a meaningful honor and a reminder to continue improving her skills as an actress.
She also thanked the people who have supported her through the years, including her family, friends, management team, colleagues in the entertainment industry, and loyal supporters.
"Maraming salamat sa aking pamilya, mga kaibigan, management, mga nakatrabaho ko sa industriya, at sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin KKKFam, KKKTeam, Kris Lawrence & Katie sa bawat hakbang ng aking journey. Higit sa lahat, salamat sa Diyos sa gabay at mga biyayang natatanggap ko," she shared.
A notable part of her message was her acknowledgment of singer Kris Lawrence and their daughter Katie. Their names were among those she personally mentioned while expressing appreciation for the support she has received throughout her journey.
