Beyond her direct advice, Janella Salvador emphasized compassion and presence for those affected by online attacks. She expressed that no one deserves to be subjected to such harmful messages.

“Pero aside from that, of course, really, nobody deserves to be on the receiving end of that. So ako, I really just as much as possible, gusto ko maging andiyan, makikinig lang ako kapag kailangan niya ako. Presence lang po,” says Janella Salvador.

Klea Pineda, for her part, recalled how she had previously spoken about receiving alarming messages on social media. She admitted that she now avoids reading comments, especially after experiencing overwhelming emotional distress.

“Kapag nakikita niya akong nagche-check ng social media comments. Parang 'Ah, nagbabasa ka na naman, mamaya wala ka na naman sa mood.' So parang nu'ng nakita ko 'yung isang message na 'yun, sinabi ko kaagad sa kanya and in-ask ko siya kung ano 'yung dapat kong gawin about it kasi parang nanginig 'yung buong katawan ko, Tito Boy, parang umabot sa ganun,” Klea Pineda shared.

She also reiterated that no one deserves to receive hateful or degrading messages online.

Meanwhile, Jasmine Curtis-Smith also expressed her frustration toward people who continue to spread hateful remarks online, questioning the effort behind such behavior.

“Minsan napapaisip ako, 'Wow, nag-effort ka talagang i-type 'yun at i-press ang send na gusto mong iparating 'yung masama mong iniisip sa 'min?' Hindi ko ma-gets, e,” says Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
