Veteran actor Tirso Cruz III marked a major milestone in his married life as he and his wife, Lynn Ynchausti, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Monday, May 25.

To commemorate the occasion, Cruz took a nostalgic trip down memory lane by sharing photos from their 2016 visit to Israel, where the couple renewed their wedding vows in a deeply personal ceremony.

In his post, Cruz reflected on the significance of the location and the emotional meaning behind their vow renewal, which he said became even more memorable because their children were present to witness the moment.

"We found these pictures during our trip to Israel in 2016. Where Lynn and I recommitted our wedding vows. This was very memorable for us because it was where Jesus Christ also did His first miracle during a wedding in Cana. And our children were with us as they experienced this very special occasion in our lives."

He further expressed gratitude for the life he has built with his wife and looked forward to more years together.

"A Happy 45th Anniversary to me and my beloved wife.. Looking forward to many more anniversaries in our lives. I love you forever my Love!"

The heartfelt post highlighted not only the longevity of their relationship but also the spiritual and emotional foundation that has strengthened their marriage through the years.

For her part, Ynchausti also marked the anniversary by sharing a video compilation featuring photos of their journey together across the decades, showing their enduring bond as a couple.

Cruz and Ynchausti’s love story began in 1981 when they became a couple. They eventually tied the knot in 1985 and went on to build a family with three children: Bodie, Djanin, and TJ.

Their son TJ passed away in November 2019 after battling cancer, a loss that deeply affected the family but also strengthened their closeness and resilience as they continued to honor his memory.

Tirso Cruz III is a 74-year-old Filipino veteran actor, singer, and public official who rose to historic superstardom in the 1970s as one half of the legendary "Guy and Pip" love team alongside Nora Aunor. With a brilliant career spanning over five decades, he is widely celebrated for his award-winning, versatile performances in countless Philippine films and television series, and he recently served the local arts community as the chairperson of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).

In another report, Tirso Cruz III remembered his late son, TJ Cruz, in an emotional Instagram post. The veteran actor shared that it has already been 90 months since TJ passed away. His message reflected the continued love and remembrance that their family holds for him. TJ died in 2018 after battling cancer for six months.

Meanwhile, Tirso Cruz III also extended his condolences to the family of the late Superstar Nora Aunor through a heartfelt message shared on Instagram. Known as “Pip” from their iconic loveteam “Guy and Pip,” he expressed gratitude for her lasting contributions to Philippine cinema. The Superstar passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 71.
