Jillian Ward is taking her newest television role seriously as she prepares to become one of the judges of The Clash Teens, which premieres on June 7.

Known as the “Star of the New Gen,” Jillian shared that she has already started taking singing lessons to strengthen her credibility as a member of the Clash Panel. She will be joining fellow judges Christian Bautista and JL Toreliza in the upcoming teen edition of the singing competition.
During a recent interview with Nelson Canlas on 24 Oras, Jillian admitted that she wants to be more prepared before taking on the responsibility of judging young singers.
“Nagsi-singing lessons na rin po talaga ako ngayon para syempre mas may knowledge po ako,” Jillian said.

The actress explained that her role in the competition goes beyond simply evaluating the contestants’ singing abilities. According to her, she also wants to pay close attention to the performers’ stage presence and overall appeal as artists.

“Ang role ko sa The Clash ay hindi lang bilang isang judge sa mga boses nila pero sa star factor nila on stage kasi naniniwala po ako na sobrang importante rin yung pagiging storyteller ng isang artist,” she shared.
