Kuya Kim Atienza proudly celebrated a major milestone in the life of his daughter, Eliana Hatienza, after she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.

The TV host shared the achievement through a heartfelt Instagram post. Aside from graduating with highest honors, Eliana also received the Elaine Simon Award for social justice and contribution to the Pennsylvania community.
In his post, Kuya Kim proudly wrote, “Can I make yabang?” before announcing his daughter’s accomplishment. He then shared, “Our @elianahatienza is now a @upenn graduate with Summa cum laude honors!”
The proud father also highlighted the special recognition given to Eliana for her efforts beyond academics. According to the post, she was honored for her dedication to social justice and community work during her stay at the prestigious university.

Despite the success, Kuya Kim revealed that Eliana’s college journey was not easy. He shared that the past four years became a challenge not only for his daughter but also for their family.
“Eliana’s 4 years in UPenn was not without challenges. It was a trial for her and the family,” he wrote.
The television personality then praised his daughter’s determination throughout her studies. He emphasized that Eliana’s “passion, persistence and resilience prevailed” despite the hardships they faced along the way.
Toward the end of his message, the veteran host openly expressed his love for Eliana. “We are mighty proud of you and we love you so much Eliana!” he said.
Kuya Kim also ended the post with a message of gratitude, writing, “SSD! Salamat sa Diyos!”
