A snippet shared on the podcast's official Instagram page captured the veteran host reflecting on the legacy of his late daughter, Emman Atienza.

Kuya Kim spoke candidly about how the tragedy fundamentally changed his perspective on life and people.

"You begin to empathize, and you begin to listen, and you become more sensitive to people's needs. That's what happened to me," he shared. He explained that through his grief, his heart has only grown bigger, allowing him to listen more intently and connect with those around him.

The loss of Emman, which shook the local entertainment industry last year, has clearly left a lasting impact on how Kuya Kim interacts with the world. He noted that he now recognizes the immense power of kindness.

"I'm just more sensitive now, I can see that people are struggling and I understand their struggle and I understand the harm that it can do and how a little kindness can actually save lives," he added.

Despite the pain, Kuya Kim’s message was one of hope and connection. He described his love for Emman as something that "will never be changed," and that he will continue to carry her memory "forever and ever."

He also became widely recognized as the resident weather presenter of TV Patrol, where his informative yet friendly delivery made him a household name. Aside from weather and science segments, Kuya Kim has hosted and appeared in numerous TV shows, showcasing his versatility and charisma. In 2021, he transferred to GMA Network, where he continues to host lifestyle and informative programs such as Dapat Alam Mo! and appear on 24 Oras as one of the show's segment hosts.

One note shared that Emman continues to inspire others to choose to fight in life even though she is gone. Another visitor from Las Piñas City wrote that they head straight to the memorial after school just to 'spend time' with her. Kuya Kim expressed his gratitude on Threads, telling those who left the letters, "You are seen and you are heard."
