"First, please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay in providing this clarification. We understand many of you were looking forward to seeing her on stage," the statement began.

According to Kate Anjela, Jopay's absence was purely due to her medical condition that has since affected her knees, eventually being told to follow her physician's strict advice to continue treatment and rest up.

The statement also shed light on the fact that Jopay was even unable to attend the necessary rehearsals and training sessions for the show, and that Jopay's health and recovery is their "top priority" for the time being.

However, Kate Anjela also addressed the worries and concerns of fans about Jopay and the World Tour.

"Jopay will be officially joining the 'Get Get Aw' World Tour across the United States this coming May 2026 and other international shows. We also want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to NY Productions and the entire SexBomb Girls family for an incredibly successful finale."

The SexBomb Girls are a popular Filipino dance and performance group. They were formed as a dance group on the noontime show Eat Bulaga!, where they became part of the segment “Laban o Bawi.” The group is known for their energetic and daring dance performances, as well as their catchy songs such as Spaghetti, Get Get Aww, and Bakit Papa. Because of their unique style and strong stage presence, they quickly became a household name and one of the most popular girl groups in the Philippines during their peak. Aside from dancing, the SexBomb Girls also ventured into music, film, and television. Some members, such as Rochelle Pangilinan, Jopay Paguia, Sunshine Garcia, and others, went on to have their own careers in acting and hosting after their time with the group.

As previously reported by KAMI, Aira Bermudez shared that being a leader isn't about a paycheck, but about talent, sweat, and years of hard work. She emphasized that the respect and skills she has earned on the dance floor can never be taken away from her too. In her post, she gave a special shoutout to Rochelle Pangilinan, calling her the "Queen Bomb" who led the way for them.

Meanwhile, Sugar Mercado released a statement regarding the comments made by Alvin Aragon, husband of Izzy Trazona. In her video, Sugar said that Alvin’s emotions may be simply getting the best of him due to the heavy "bashing" his wife has been receiving. She defended the group’s comeback — which she now calls "Super Blessed" — viewing it as a way to give thanks for their two decades of hard work. The former dancer pleaded with the public to offer prayers instead of judgment on social media.
